ICON 
A social history of the City of Yarra

This group exhibition of dynamic contemporary artists were invited to responded to the significant built heritage, popular culture and social history in the City of Yarra, Melbourne.

 

It was held at the Richmond Town Hall, an architecturally and socially significant building in downtown Richmond, Melbourne.

We acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin nation who are the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we are  located. We celebrate the diversity of all Aboriginal peoples and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We acknowledge their ongoing culture and connection to the lands and waters of this country and that sovereignty was never ceded.
